From the Minnesota Missions Constitution:

Purpose:

The Society exists to support and encourage the local churches in reaching out to the world with the message of the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ and to form a united front through which to accomplish the work of missions.

Definition of Missions:

“Mission” is defined as any ministry for which the purpose is to fulfill the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus through evangelism, discipling, church planting, and church development in local, national, and international settings. It shall include support of Conference members who are preparing for the gospel ministry, participating in classes or conferences on mission, or serving short-term or long-term missions projects. It shall include support of Lord’s Harvest International (hereafter referred to as “LHI”) mission programs. It is the Society’s goal that each member of the Minnesota Conference become a mission-minded, world Christian, always looking for ways of releasing our personal and financial resources to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
